Update on Leicester's Regeneration
Leicester Regeneration Company is to update experts from the regeneration community on its progress.
The event will take place on the afternoon of 1 November at Athena in Leicester, a recent example of regeneration success in the city. The keynote speaker will be a leading expert from the commercial property world.
John Nicholls, Chief Executive of Leicester Regeneration Company, said: “We have received very positive support from the regeneration community for our work, and we recognise the importance of keeping everyone informed. Our annual meetings give us the opportunity to both give and receive information and we are very keen that people attending can give us their feedback.”
Places are limited, but anyone interested in attending the event should e-mail
Leicester Regeneration Company’s masterplan recommended five projects for the physical regeneration of central Leicester. Work is expected to start this year on two projects, the New Business Quarter and the Science and Technology Park. Good progress is being made on plans for the Waterside, New Community and the upgrading of the retail circuit.
